Tim grew up as the third of four boys in a home where his mom and dad are devoted to the Lord. His father, David Barton, is a pastor and his mom works as a school secretary. He just graduated from Emmaus Bible College with a bachelor’s degree in youth ministry and Bible theology and is currently looking for a position as a youth pastor at a church.
Tim has been coming to Impact since he was able to attend as a red schooler - a family tradition, since his family has been coming since they moved to Iowa. All four brothers attended as students, and now most of them have served when they have been able to.
Tim says "I love being a part of Impact because of their goal to speak into the lives of teens and help them grow as they unplug from the world around them and focus on Christ for a week. Impact helped me grow in a lot of ways and I am excited to be a part of helping teens now."
